@ Echo

So that means you're not magic?  ???

It does sound like the gal from Torchwood.  It sounds like she says, "Do you have a gun?"

If only the recording was a little clearer

It's not from any TV show, movie, etc. And I'm not going to say what it is :)

Well i know you use Doctor Who clips in past shows

2321 - Some sort of singing - cold be Japanese

2329 - Chat and ID "A Special Relaxing Broadcast"

2331 - Another song with bubbling noises over the top

I can assure you I use nothing from Torchwood ;)

Then what was the episode?

I'll add my opinion to the mix... no, instead I think I'll quote another (in)famous individual on this sort of activity:

“If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.”

p.s.  The author of the quote was quite an expert on such matters.

I listen either in WMP or VLC.

I rather doubt you are using WMP or VLC to playback SDR I/Q data recordings.  He is not talking about audio recordings made when using an SDR (that is no different from any audio recording made with any radio), but rather the recorded I/Q data that SDRs output when recording RF to the HD.  This ability to record the RF to the hard drive is one of the things that set SDRs apart from traditional radios.  Most remote SDRs (such as WebSDR) do not include this capability.

That was not clear in his original posting

Any ideas appreciated. Thanks RickF

1:42 appears to say "This is the space ? enegy on North America" with North pronounced as Norrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrth

7.12 mark appears to be in dutch

I'd like to know if anyone has heard activity on or near 6881kc that sounds like inverted SSB. I'm hearing it tonight, and have heard it before.

Echo One respectfully asks how old Captain Radio is. "kc..."? Wasn't that a term last used by radio ops on Noah's Ark *chuckles*

7377kHz, Nov 13th 2013 @ 1705UTC

Unid CW ended 1717UTC.
Very fast CW, software indicated over 30 WPM, message containing 5F each repeated once "16286 16286 28583 28583 94874 94874 39178 39178" etc. Signal located right between BCs from Radio Romania and China international. Signed off with "1T9 1T9 TTTTT " though it was decoded with Fldigi so there might have been some error there. Managed to capture some 140 five figure groups before it ended.

I see that G06 and E11 are active on that frequency but cannot find anything similar to this in the online references.
Anyone having any ideas as to what this might have been? Receiver located in southern Sweden.

Thanks!

T often used instead of a 0.

So, in this case, your capture reads as (corrected):

109 109 00000

Wow, how can you tell that?
I found Torchwood Series 2, Episode 13 on Netflix but it doesn't include an intro with that theme music.

Magic

*chuckles*

I'm a fan and this episode is one of my favourites out of the show. The quite itself appears to be from the very end after they listen to the farewell message that Toshiko leaves behind on her computer for automatic reply.

As an aside, I'm looking forward to what RGI has in store for November 23rd

Neutron flow...

Is that the result of discharging the flux capacitor? ... hi ... hi.

Great ghost of Rassilon! Does nobody spot a Doctor Who reference?
