Very strong signals this morning on 6900 kHz USB, Spanish language, sounds like Mexican accents.  Likely freebanders.  S6 up to S9+ signal levels and strong audio.

Sounds like a relay of CNN news coverage of the 58th Presidential Inauguration.

S7 signal locally, S5-S6 signal on the Ohio and Pennsylvania remote SDRs.  Nothing heard on the more southern SDRs (Virginia, Florida, etc).

Audio cut out, followed by CWID "TRUMP ALERT NETWORK" at 1350 UTC, then more ads.  

Off at 1720 UTC

Intermittent signal.  Sounds like police radio/police scanner audio.  Mostly digital-sounding audio (so likely a relay of a digital trunking system) with some analog voice heard at times.  Several east coast times given.  Computer-generated YL dispatch voices also heard (at 1609 UTC).

Solid S5 signal, with S6 peaks on the Ohio remote (KH6ILT KiwiSDR)

Off at 1630 UTC?

Sign on with music, YL signing in unknown language.  Seems to be rapidly changing between songs, sometimes with a few seconds between tracks.

S7-S8 signal on the VA remote
S5-S6 signal on the NH, OH, and PA remotes
S9 signal on the NJ remote

Nice audio, especially for SSB.

Other / 4030 kHz USB UNID Spanish Language 0400-0450 UTC 18 Jan 2017

Hearing a long QSO on 4030 kHz USB right now.  Seems like Spanish language but I could be wrong.  Weak signals, but readable. 

Since this is a legit HF marine frequency, I'm going to presume that that's what this is.  Of course, it is right above the top edge of the 75 meter amateur band, and the 4000-4063 kHz range is known to be used for all sorts of things that are not maritime mobile.  Military/government users, MARS, pirate broadcasters, and even a peppering of licensed shortwave broadcasters from time to time (Radio Verdad on 4055 kHz AM comes to mind).  So these guys could be anything.  I've been watching them for the past 40-50 minutes on the waterfall while I listened to the UNID pirate station on 4040 kHz USB but they disappeared a couple minutes ago.  Not really sure what these guys were so I figured I'd post a log.

Bits and pieces of audio coming through.  Noticed it on the waterfall a couple minutes ago.  Also bits and pieces of music heard.

0408 UTC - Russian QSO going on.  OM and YL talking, with audio tones in the background.

More Spanish language traffic on 6920 kHz USB (sometimes causing minor QRM to the usual pescadores on 6925 kHz LSB).  

Seem like freebanders.  Two stations chatting away.  No actual callsigns heard, ops seem to be referring to each other by name.

Another relay/rebroadcasting station, this time they appear to be relaying Skippy Radio on 6930 USB.  

S4 signal level.  Playing the same music that is being played on 6930 kHz USB.

Thought this was AM for a second, but nope, its FM!

"You have selected Microsoft David Mobile as the default voice"

Then signal disappeared (2202 UTC)...and then came back at 2204 UTC (or possibly earlier) with "I can't tell you why" by the Eagles....now an OM saying "FM! FM! F M ! you know, FM!", into "I Can't Tell You Why" by The Eagles at 2206 UTC.

Dueling carriers on 6925 this afternoon.  Second carrier settled in the 6924.7 - 6924.8 range, SDR says 6924.788 kHz, so I'm rounding that up to 6924.7 kHz.  Competing with the on-going UNID on 6925.0 kHz.

1816 UTC - OM talking about dance moves
1818 UTC - on-going dance music with lots of up-shifted vocals and house music beats!
1834 UTC - Sounds like there's more audio in the background.  I heard an OM talking as well as other sound fx

Carrier has been on 6925.0 kHz for a little bit now, wither another carrier a bit below it.  Possibly Liquid Radio?  

EDIT 1822 UTC:

Carrier moving around (VFO swooshing!) for a bit, then disappeared around 1823 UTC.  So maybe not Liquid Radio after all?

Came on shortly after Amphetamine Radio signed off.  Bits and pieces of modulation (with some pescadore QRM from 6925 kHz LSB).  Solid carrier on 6925.0 kHz.
