0137z: Radio Free Manitoba ID, other programming very difficult to copy due to heavy QRM from adjacent pesque chatter.
0147z: Radio Free Manitoba and what sounds like Kasey Kasem spoof.  What little I can hear sounds like quirky edits and cut-ups, including Kasem's dedication to Snuggles.
0153z: Northern Relay Service ID's with CW (NRS?)

Nifty show, I dig the oddities from sliced and diced audio.

Wasn't watching clock or recording, but between approx 0000-0030z heard Random Radio playing Bix Beiderbecke and other jazz from that era.  Roderick Random chatting about the music, also sounded like he was attempting QSO with Captain Morgan but I could hear only Random Radio here.  Long pauses between songs and chatter.

This was probably the best signal I've heard from Random Radio.  Must have been very good grayline conditions.

0048z: "Radio Ga-Ga, live from Zipper Lake", after "Sunshine Go Away Today", "Miserlou", couple others, not taking notes.
0052z: LOL!  "Jules" (Samuel L. Jackson) laying out some mighty fine ALLCAPS TALKING from Pulp Fiction.

Good signal peaks through some fades and noise.

0125z: Some hip-hop, sounded like Eminem, not sure if still Radio Ga-Ga.

SINPO=42423, good clear peaks, lots of fading from S1-S9, and heavy local RFI, not much QRN.  Audio sounds good.

Since 0820z hearing rocking blues w/ electric guitar.  Only occasionally audible, not quite clear enough to recognize any song titles.
0910z: Carrier suddenly dropped, signal was starting to come through fairly well, still didn't recognize any of the blues tunes.

WYFR has been on this freq before, but I doubt this was them or another broadcaster unless they were running some very informal testing overnight.

6985 AM
Since around 0230z, fairly strong AM station playing lots of hit pop/rock music, some Zombies classics and B-52s "Rock Lobster" around 0245z.  No ID heard between songs.
0253z: "Orinoco Flow", suddenly off after what sounded like someone hitting the "skip" function on the mp3 player, heard a bit of Spirit "I Got A Line On You", then suddenly off.
0305z: Popped up again with what I think was Benny Goodman "In The Mood", then suddenly off.
0354z: Back with several Moody Blues songs.  Still some strong peaks but more fading.
0403z: And off again, still no ID.
0420z: Back with "War of the Worlds" program with Richard Burton narrating over music (thx to The Web for that bit of musical trivia!)
Six minute mp3 from War of the Worlds segment.

0550z: Back with more War of the Worlds, Phil Lynott singing.  Signal varying between S1-S9, generally above noise.
20 minute mp3 from WotW.
0615z: Off again.
0620z: Back, Joan Baez "Diamonds and Rust", "The Night They Drove old Dixie Down"
Two minute mp3 Joan Baez
0630z: Cream "Sunshine of Your Love", "White Room" and off again.

Good signal whoever you were, mystery enigmatic pirate guy.  Let's call it SINPO=44333 on an indoor portable with just a whip.  Occasionally peaking to S7+ over S1 noise on the indoor loop.

2311z: BANR ID
Occasionally peaking well enough to copy familiar songs in AM mode

2322z: Bowie "Space Oddity"
2332z: Bust A Nut Radio ID "Now with dual nut spin", Beatles "Here Comes The Sun" & "Good Day Sunshine"

Generally well above noise since around 2315z

6925 (I'm guessing USB, but I never checked to see if it was AM)
Was just barely audible 'til 0300z when it began popping through clearly with metal music (Dio?  Maiden?  All sounds alike to me) and several robot voice KARR ID's.  SSTV too, but I don't have MMSSTV running on this PC.  Good to very good from 0300-0340z, then off or suddenly faded out.

6925, presumed AM mode?
0553-0557z: Two SSTV signals (no copy here, didn't have MMSSTV set up).  Each accompanied by carrier that turned on and off along with beginning and end of each SSTV.  Carrier centered around 6925.1, and SSTV was comparably audible when switching between AM, LSB and USB on the receiver.

Just audible through fairly heavy local noise.
