Started with what sounded like Motown style music for a song or two, then nothing but data bursts almost like the old Russian woodpecker every few minutes. Music was very hard to copy here in AZ due to QRN... lots of noise out here tonight...... the sound bursts are quite loud. Anyone else hearing this? Music started again at 0346... s7 or so, much better signal.

Crystal clear and loud here in Southwest AZ, from "Paradise Theater" test to full show, 1:20-ish till finish. All ID's and music legible, SIO 454, really beautiful audio in USB. Congratulations, thanks for a hilarious and clever show! I loved the pseudo-interval signal! (white punks chorus looped over and over) Thanks also for playing Nina Hagen!

Once upon a time, Radio Shack sold a damned fine Moog-style synthesizer, the MG-1. Well-built compared to stuff today, very useable.

"Clear Channel Communications Inc. is offering to double interest to push out maturities on some of the $4.3 billion it owes, just as the most-leveraged U.S. broadcaster suffers the first cash-flow deficit in four years.
The company said on Nov. 25 that it’s seeking to extend about $1.8 billion of borrowings due in 2016 by three years to five years, which Fitch Ratings estimates would boost interest costs as much as $55 million annually.
While the proposal gives Clear Channel more time to turn around a business that’s posted losses every year after Bain Capital Partners LLC and Thomas H. Lee Partners LP took control in 2008, it also raises the company’s risk of missing interest payments on $20.7 billion of debt, according to Moody’s Investors Service. After capital expenses, Clear Channel ran a deficit from operations in the year ended June, meaning the company had to eat into cash that’s declined more than 60 percent since the end of 2010 to $704.2 million."
So maybe, just maybe, there's light at the end of the tunnel? [Bain Capital, that rings a bell somewhere...

This is a new one for me. RHC just played "Woman is the Nigger of the World", and after a short introduction about Lennon's protest songs, "Gimme Some Truth". I have to say, I enjoy a lot of Cuban music, but this is a pleasant surprise. Their new show is "Music with a message", but the last thing I expected was to hear RHC actually rock.

Killer signal into SW AZ... RML covering a lot of the USA, west of the Mississippi.
I think this is significant and very, very cool.
The East Coast Pirates used to have some games sewn up, it was hard to hear them.
My significant gorgeous girl states that when I was dating her thirteen years ago, it was more
difficult to catch SW pirate stations in AZ. I remember it as being sporadic at best.
Now, I hear operators every weekend, and very good quality ops very often.

First post ever: Excellent signal here in southern AZ. Signal sounded like the KIPM of old, which is praise indeed.
Impressed at the Kiev log above. This is what pirate radio can be.
QSO at 258, a combo of a 90's show and a 2003 show? "Our own version"?
The ICF2010 has always loved KIPM for some reason. And Red Mercury labs. Or maybe it loves broadcasters
with the strength and timing to make it to AZ. Cheers to all.
