Good if not great signal into Colorado this very early morning, I'd say SIO 343, but it's Saturday night in New Zealand and they're playing their weekly all request program. My request will be coming up this hour. Hope the signal remains this strong or preferably becomes better.

Signal was weak but copyable. Not sure when V24 was last broadcast on the 5th of the month at this frequency and time, but I know from my own monitoring that it was not here in December, January, or February. It began with the same song that has been used on 6215 for the past couple of years ("Shouldn't Have..." Baek A Yeon feat. Young K) followed by message. The message was short and the transmission was QRT at 15:07:41.

New frequency for the 1059-1258 bloc that's still labeled as transmitting toward Papua New Guinea, but was a big S9 signal here in Colorado. I recall that last summer that portion of the broadcast was very audible here in North America, from my own logs and those of others. Anyway, I found it playing music and wasn't sure what station it was until the QSY announcement at 1257. This is a brand new change to the schedule. I had looked up at their website just last night, and still had on my browser this morning showing 9700 for that time. When I refreshed the page, the new frequency appeared. Presumably this will be the case for the remainder of the b17 season, but with RNZI anything is possible.
