Very good reception in unknown language.  None of my go-to resources identify a broadcaster on this frequency.  Anyone have any ideas?  Language sounds southern Asian or northern African (Arabic/Persian/Dari/Pashto?).

1630 Music to OM with perhaps news
1639 OM says "Iraq" "Iran" but VOIROI is not show for frequency
1649 OM succinctly saying one one word after another with slight pause, as if reading off a list or a set of numbers.
1651 IS/Radio ID tones (?) then YL with possible ID "Ray-dee-oh ____?" to Arabic sounding music
1659 Off mid-music

Excellellent reception

During the evening of November 16 EST, I was traveling from 19 degree Hanover, NH back to balmy 29 degree "Southern" Connecticut spinning the dial to listen to flagship terrestrial broadcasts of college football games.  During my almost three hour trip I picked up the college broadcast of Navy (WBAL), Syracuse (WHAM), Kentucky (WHAS & WCKY), Cincinnati (WLW), and Rutgers (WOR).  None of the aforementioned are a great surprise but in western Mass. (aka "Skippyland") through just south of Hartford, the U/Georgia broadcast came in superb on 750 WSB but disappeared closer to my qth.  That is my experience with home based radios, just never able to receive WSB and my local environment with far less man made interference than traveling through Springfield and Hartford.

0015-0030 Two very excited OM's on call of end of Auburn/Georgia football game, Georgia manages to hold off Auburn's last drive, run out clock, and win 21-14

As long as they keep their Saturday music program, they can become a Clandestine Hong Kong Religious Broadcaster as far as I am concerned.....

Huh? / Robert Freeman, Beatles Album Cover Photographer, passes at 81
« on: November 09, 2019, 1047 UTC »
From Pitchfork (yes, I know the story says 82 but you do the math):
Robert Freeman, the British photographer who shot some of the Beatles’ most iconic album covers, has died. He was 82 years old, as Deadline reports. Though the cause of death has not yet been revealed, the news of Freeman’s passing was announced via the Beatles’ official Twitter account earlier today.

Freeman was born in 1938. Early in his career, he worked as a photo-journalist for The Sunday Times. His life as a professional photographer took off when he began working with the Beatles in the early ’60s. Freeman would go on to shoot the now-legendary covers of Help!, Beatles for Sale, Rubber Soul, With the Beatles, A Hard Day’s Night, and more. He also captured images of John Coltrane, Mohammed Ali, Andy Warhol, Charlton Heston, and many other pivotal figures in pop culture.

Following the news of Freeman’s death, Paul McCartney posted words of remembrance on his website. “Dear Robert Freeman has passed away. He was one of our favourite photographers during the Beatles years who came up with some of our most iconic album covers,” McCartney wrote. “I will miss this wonderful man but will always cherish the fond memories I have of him.”

No, Al - He did not get to shoot the Ohio Players' "Honey" album cover, nor the cover of Herb Albert and the Tijuana Brass' "Whipped Cream and Other Delights"
