Solid S9 signal here with some fading amidst moderate static crashes. ID "This is Brownie Radio"

Edit: Announced that he's taking request via HFU!

S9+20 (SINFO 55455) into central New York - excellent quality thanks to relatively wide bandwidth.

ID at 0226z - pretty sure I heard "Outhouse Radio". Decent signal, but fair bit of noise here.

HF Mystery Signals / Amateur mode 7040kHz PSK variant?
« on: March 30, 2021, 0143 UTC »
I'm seeing 2-minute long narrowband (roughly 75 Hz wide?) digital QSOs on 7040 kHz that I can't identify (apparently nothing similar at SigIdWiki). I think it might be some variant of PSK based on the resources at http://www.w1hkj.com/modes/index.htm, but I ran through all these modes in MultiPSK to no avail. Audio at https://www.lutins.org/temp/radio/7040_digi.mp3 waterfall as shown below. Thanks for any assistance!

Powerful signal here. Off the air following a digital signal. Not SSTV, not a waterfall image. I believe I heard the same mode last night when another pirate (Aarow Radio, I think) signed off. Anyone know what that is? I'm seeing a digital signal there now, but not sure if it's WEZL:

Oh! just heard a carrier, and looks like they're coming back on the air...

I'm currently (24 March @ 0030z) monitoring 4300 kHz and hearing a series of very short pips at a 4-second interval. Folks on the UDXF discussion group at groups.io have reported this phenomenon on a large number of HF frequencies being audible around the world (including SDRs in North America, Austria and China). Audio clip at https://www.lutins.org/temp/radio/pips.mp3; waterfall as follows:

Powerful signal (S9+30) in upstate NY; very little fading; slight interference from a pesky on 6935 LSB. Agree that audio is slightly distorted (sounds like it is being overdriven at one of the processor stages).

Got a better rendering the second time around:

Also caught this in the waterfall (not clear because image was rendering with music in background):

Respectable S8 to S9+1 signal in upstate NY (a bit of fading). Playing techno.

Excellent! Not sure how that one got by me, as it's not all that new. I've used several applications that support that mode, so I'll have to give it a try. Thanks!

HF Mystery Signals / 7040 kHz - 5 second bursts, 150 kHz bandwidth

I'm familiar with most common amateur digital modes, but tonight I'm hearing (a new?) one on 40m from several stations that doesn't appear to be represented at SigIdWiki. Audio at https://www.lutins.org/temp/7042.mp3; waterfall thus:

193
Signal S8 to S9+ in central (upstate) NY

194
Never mind - I figured it out - looks like 10 lines/second does the trick!

This closed out the broadcast at 0307z. Btw, great signal in upstate NY - here's one of the SSTV images I decoded:

(The wavy lines are from interfering relocatable over-the-horizon radar signals - those 2-10 second bursts that sound like digital farts)

195
How many lines per second is your waterfall running at to capture those images?
