1839 Looks like 5800.23 on two different Weston KiwiSDRs

Both misaligned. Don't trust the Kiwi SDRs.
Pity, as most of them can use the frequency standard from the GPS.
I think it is about .23 off frequency. I can adjust this in the TX. I'm still getting the feel of the DDS.

Signal on uTwente now reads 5800.05.

Happy with that.
I'm just checking my RX on Taldom 4996.00000000
i just read 4995.99 at zero beat (so I add 0.01 when doing the best reports)

Hi Ray. Can you give me an accurate check of 5800 on your receiver?

Edited post to correct frequency.

Brian, does the transmitter owner want reports?

No, thanks. There will be more tests over the next couple of days as some adjustments need to be made to the transmitter. No reports necessary but all reports here will be read.

Hi Brian, transmitter frequency seems to be 5800.02 khz at 1830 UTC

That sounds about right. It is possible to get it closer on frequency. I'll look at that later.

Brian who is it? A ID will be good!  :)

No ID as it's just a test transmission. It's the FRSH transmitter.

Testing a new DDS oscillator in the TX. Seems to be working well so far. :) :) :)

I am prety sure that i received his 1rst harmonc at 3240 khz....its funny cause i dont received his fudamental signal!!!!
The fundamental is the 1st harmonic.

It's not unusual to receive the 2nd harmonic better than the 1st if you're at the right distance.  Did you try the 3rd?

Probably means they need to check the cleanliness of the transmitter output.

Mad Miles Johnson on the pirate station that broadcast from the Republic of Ireland into Northern Ireland (UK) in 1988. Briefly was 1.2 MW on FM. I had many connections with the station.

I had a vertical and ground plane for CB. Set it up last summer for DX, no local activity here.  It was mounted on the ground using my MW ground radials. Very noisy. I had better success using my 32 mtr Inv V dipole.

As you say, 5 dollars of parts. I made a loop.  If you're getting sky and ground wave, it's not much goof for DFing.

You should put up "sponsored posts" promoting pyramid schemes and other scams. They don't have a problem with those posts!

Audio here at time of posting but I can't tell if it's Jennifer. I suspect it's Korea. Atmos interference.
