Exactly, also the multiple toggle switches cutting over to the transmitter. AM is very easy on the ears, laid back and relaxing, and I can listen to it for a long periods. I liken it to preserving and driving vintage cars. It might not be the most efficient way but it has a certain charm to operate. I often listen to 75m AM in the background while working in my shop.

Right above the calendar is a link that will take you to an online receiver that is tuned to the correct frequency. Still fun to listen to even if you don't intercept it on your own radio.

The story of radio begins alongside that of the Soviet state: Russia's first long-range transmission of the human voice occurred in 1919, during the civil war. Sound broadcasting was a medium of exceptional promise for this revolutionary regime. It could bring the Bolsheviks' message to the furthest corners of their enormous country. It had unprecedented impact: the voice of Moscow could now be wired into the very workplaces and living spaces of a population that was still only weakly literate.

I've heard this as well. Sometimes I hear long dashes or irregular Morse which makes me suspect that it isn't CW but just random.

75m has been going long at night so you should be able to hear some good DX at the expense of local stations. Last year the rally was very successful and lots of nice warm tube generated AM signals were about.

My online SDR - http://sigmasdr.ddns.net:8073 - gets wacked occasionally by AM overload. The closest AM tower is over 12+ miles away and it isn't a powerhouse so that isn't the one causing it. Haven't located the exact offender yet because it is so intermittent.
As a quick workaround, I bought a 40dB band stop filter for $15 which seems to help:

I bought the KiwiSDR specifically to share it online. I also have an Afedri that I like which has more features but it was twice the price of the KiwiSDR.

Have you tried decoding the FSK? Curious if there is any readable data that might reveal its purpose.
