Title: Simply, Rain.
Post by: NQC on June 01, 2021, 0006 UTC
Hey All,

Thankful for rain.

We finally got some some   soaking precip, around 3 " in the last 3 days. Nice, gradual and able to seep in. Not a run off deluge. Another inch or so expected in a few days.

The soil should  also  accept    this expected   rain  nicely , now that it is moist, but not saturated.

My thoughts go out to the folks in the  Sierras of California who are in extreme drought conditions and are expedited to go through another Super Fire season. Last year the smoke was visible here in MA.

Southern   Saskatchewan and Southern Manitoba  are also extremely  dry. Smoke from there also been spotted here over they years. Of course it is a shorter path than  from Cali.

I was pleased with the 5" we got over the last week. The soil is much better now and my swimming pool is full. :)

Hey Rob,

At 5" inches it sounds like you did   better. Central toward Western MA along the CT border always seems  get more. Eastern MA seems a bit cursed over the last year or more.

Enjoy the pool and the heat wave coming up,

What's rain? Bone dry here in MN with heat. No significant rain in the forecast.
