That should be 6070, as I believe it's CFRB-1010 they relay, if I remember correctly, but I am still on my first cuppa coffee. ;)

I also forgot the one from Vancouver on 6080, I think it was something like CKWX.  Only 10-watts from BC to the ECNA!

Morning, Chris, you know, I think you're right.  Last year they were still on, I'd forgot.  I think C & W music was the format.

He was in Iann's europirate chat last 2 nights, and I believe Dr. Tim said new e-mail is shortwavemalta@hotmail.com.  Location should be SW Europe, as he told me in PM that he's the same op that had previous stns. that transmitted from Spain, Andorra, Canary Islands, and Balearic Islands, and I was lucky enough to QSL all of these locations!  Very very nice guy.

I think they're only like 300-watts, and the radiation pattern probably is towards that area.  But I have heard it on quite a number of occasions, along w/the BC one on the same freq., but then I lived basically near the top of a mountain for over 8 years, and had about a 150-ft. longwire dipole antenna and tuners/pre-amps, so that certainly didn't hurt!
I did try before sunrise this morning, and even just using ameco TPA as an indoor antenna, I was hearing some news in English.  Also got a very nice QSL-package from them from years back, and have QSL'd all the other old Canadian SW stations (6005, 6030, 6070, 6130, etc.).  I guess only 6070 and the 2 on 6160 are the only 2 left. :'(

Thanx, John.  Still a bit weak, but very very very clear.  Just caught the end of one of my faves:  Ozzy Fudd 'Kill the Wabbit,' lol!
I'm on europirate chatroom, too, so trying to juggle a few things at once.  FRC coming soon!

Does HPRS have any contact info, or all through TCS?

Not quite S-2 here, but very clear.
And thanx John, I'll be on FRC in a little bit!  ;D
