Maybe heard this a minute ago exactly 1 hertz down at 7038.3
Oddly, I thought I heard it the other day... Perhaps it is back - I hear nothing as of 15:44UTC on either freq though

Spotted the simulcast of JOHNNY_CAMARO on 1625 and 1695 from 1318 UTC onwards.
Lots of fading in and out, but not from Condx due to weather... suspect problems with his equipment as it is normally a good station.

I know numerous operations have fallen due to proximity to land, ship registry with certain countries & treaties, and outright armed aggressive takeovers by 'operatives'.
Can one do it somewhere today without fear of government interference (pun intended)?

HF Beacons / Re: "K" beacon 7039.3
« on: January 30, 2013, 1713 UTC »I've been hearing this Russian beacon for about an hour now. It seemed to peak at around 0430Z but still there at 0500Z. Signal was a good S5, now in and out of the noise around S2 average.

Heard Pioneer Radio - located in holland - from 1620 onwards with an average strength of S7.
ID given many times and was playing a varied selection of rock and pop music.
Still on at 1708

Spy Numbers / S28 Wonders off freq again

S28 ( at time of writing) is on 4575 and can not be heard on 4625 as it should be. I wonder if they use 4575 as the TX freq during the short period that 4625 in blocked by UTE, Condx and whatnot. Recording avaliable as soon as i figure how to put it on here.

Station will sound like a machine shop with occasional Russian voices.
