Radio Station Y-H-W-H  9600 AM  0355-0435*  2014.07.18
Finally caught a broadcast of this station.  Signal was weak with many fade-outs making copy difficult.
What I did manage to hear:
Contemporary application of the Messiah prophecy in Isaiah;
Invalidity of animal sacrifice because not specifically mentioned in the Ten Commandments;
Reflections on necessary conditions for the Second Coming; and,
Brief exposition on the Ten Commandments.
Ended with an odd, almost drone-like monotone piece into s/off.
Op did identify the station as "Radio Station 'Y-H-W-H'."

WRR on 6933 USB 0147+  JUL 18
Strong signal into eastern Nebraska.  Currently playing "Hobo Bill" now "John Henry."
Op stated voice not quite up to speed for show but the show goes on.

Not sure if this is the same station but hearing a strong CW signal @ 2358 (Jul 17) on 14027. Off @ 0004 (Jul 18).
Don't know Morse code.

North American Shortwave Pirate / UNID on 6935 LSB @ 2258 JUL 17

UNID on 6932/6933 USB 2258-2300*  2014.JUL.17
Caught the very tail-end of a show.  Heard a bit of music then a male anncr before leaving air @ 2300.
Unable to clearly lock in the frequency so it sounded a little garbled.
(Thanks, Chris, for noting it was LSB and not USB.  Explains why I was unable to get a clear read.)

Token, what kind of signal are you getting at your location?

XLR8  6925 USB  0117-0130+  JUL 16
Playing music with lots of percussion and occasional voice. Noise levels not too bad at the moment but having a tough time locking in the signal. (Only 1 kHz resolution on the portable I'm using.) Caught clear ID @ 0130.

Germany Calling  6925 USB  0252-0310+  JUL 15
Big Band music from World War II era.
Song "Here Comes the Freedom Man" for war bonds and another song with Louie Armstrong?
IDs "You are listening to Lord Hee-Haw in the 43 metre-band.:
Considering the noise at my location (eastern Nebraska), signal is good with decent copy.
Enjoyable show

Generation Wild 100 / 6935 USB / 0205-0400* / JULY 11
Very nice selection of easy listening and up-tempo jazz music.  Signal improved over course of broadcast with good audio.
Sign-off @0400 with station ID.  No contact info heard.
Great music for a warm summer night in eastern Nebraska!

Got one here, too.
Thanks, Doc, for the E-QSL and the SSTV image.

6925 USB / 0335-0430* / JUL 05
Audio barely above noise floor here in Nebraska.  Caught several country songs with CW IDs @ 0343, 0353, and 0405.  Only song I recognized was Linda Ronstadt singing "Desperado."

SSTV transmission after CW ID @ 0405.  Wasn't set up to copy.
Male singer immediately after end of SSTv--another station?

Assuming KCPR  continued show.  Heard a few more songs, another CW ID @0426 then another SSTV transmission.

6945 AM /0202 /JUL 05
Male announcer stating broadcast of XFM to begin in 5 minutes in C-QUAM AM stereo.
Haven't been able to listen much, but station still going strong @ 0430.  Still good signal/audio at my location.

Woke up this morning to find an E-QSL from X-FM for their June 1 broadcast.  Thanks.

After 20 unsuccessful minutes finally picked up a signal @ 0148 featuring marching band music.  Signal here on the Great Plains is faint.  Even though broadcast in AM needed SSB to cut through the noise to get somewhat legible copy.
Hope conditions here improve as local sunset approaches.
Marked improvement in signal ~0200 with a rousing rendition of "Stars and Stripes Forever."  However, moments later, a very strong het in LSB appeared making copy once again a touch-and-go affair.
ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!  (And not in the good pirate way.)

WHISKEY REDNECK RADIO  / 6925 USB / 0215-0240+/ JUL 03
Song about "Hobo Bill"  followed by a moment of silence for John Henry while op effects some repairs.  Back @ 0229 with songs by Grandpa Jones ("John Henry, Steel-Driving Man," "Waiting for a Train," and "Good Old Mountain Dew").
Very strong signal and decent audio into the Great Plains.

Utility / Re: WWV 25000 khz 1656 utc 04/13/2014
« on: June 30, 2014, 0152 UTC »
Was able to hear WWV on 25000 kHz for the first time today and  all WWV frequencies in the space of 20 minutes.
On 2014 JUN 30 heard WWV on:
25000 kHz from 0110-0112 (unable to copy at 0135);
20000 kHz from 0113-0115 (unable to copy at 0135);
15000 kHz from 0016-0120 (WWVH also came in clearly and copied station ID announcement in female voice at 0129 with "Aloha" greeting at end. WWV station ID at 0130.  It was easy to hear the doubled time pips from the two stations commingling.);
10000 kHz from 0120-0122;
5000 kHz from 0123-0125; and
2500 kHz from 0125-0128.

I did not expect to hear either 25000 or 20000 at this time of day but for a few minutes conditions allowed me to hear them both distinctly.
