Utility / Any Coast Guard HF Rescue Ops?
« on: June 21, 2023, 1531 UTC »

With regard to the lost submersible:

Other than the occasional Maritime WX I'm not hearing anything at my location in Massachusetts on the old CG frequencies: 2670 KHz, 5696 KHz, 8983 KHz 8993 KHz

Has everything moved to Sat Coms? Any better frequencies?

Shortwave Broadcast / WWCR - Nashville Super Wide?
« on: September 17, 2022, 1549 UTC »
Logging WWCR on 15825 most of the morning here.

I note their modulation artifacts are received from 15805 upto 15846.

RX environment: FTdx5000, IP01, 6K/9K IF filtering, AM. Tribander @38'. Steady 59+10 dB signal at 15825.

I don't think its overloading my front end.

Anyone else note this?
