They are a nice S9+10 on a clear channel here in the west of Ireland but there's a bit of propagation flutter, kinda fits with the synth music !

Hearing them well enough here in the west of ireland also.

Propagation is a little poorer than on some other evenings and I'm hearing also some interference from 'the primary user' along with band noise

HF Mystery Signals / 1khz Spaced tones centered on 5051Khz 16:40 UTC 30 JAN 2025

This signal is both wide (~120Khz) and strong over the last few days here in the west of Ireland and today I dug out my 'bits' to go discover whatever new device came into the house that is doing this to my noise floor, only to notice it has 'propagation' and upon further investigation other SDR's to the East of me are hearing this signal too.
TDOA seems to not work on this either, perhaps because there are only steady carriers, thus nothing to 'timestamp' 

Does anyone know what this might be ?

They announce they are just testing modulation but sounding rather nice here in the west of Ireland this evening

For the fans of my SDR's . We had a hurricane last friday and I (& very many others) still do not have power so I have a very little generator minding our household essentials (internet,fridge,coffee) and the SDR's, thus they may be up and down quite a bit until next week. #2 is a 'sticky' one & the PSU needs an operator to wake it up

The propagation feels very 'long' tonight on 60m and the MUF is quite low here but the band is good to Aisa

Sign off at 00:52 was rather abrupt but another good airing that was enjoyable copy in the storm trashed west of ireland

Nice strong S9 + signal here, excellent modulation but the audio is degraded a little by quite a bit of multipath fading tonight in the west of ireland>Heard with  with an ident up at 00:11 UTC
