Hello everyone. I am from Russia. I will share some information. Private, licensed radio station "green eye" operates on 1485 kHz. Its founder and the only representative of the entire team is a man over 70 years old. He bought an abandoned house in a taiga village, is engaged in its improvement and broadcasts from there. The transmitter power is not high yet. If you are interested, here is his  forum https://forum.cqf.su/viewtopic.php?t=24   https://forum.cqf.su/viewtopic.php?t=164&start=180

About Russian pirates. I can hear those stations daily with huge signals.
I have  never contacted any and these days I do not want to hear Russian language at all.
They do the same QSO-work with each other but also play music.
They use stations names like Planeta, Kurier, Proton ,Galavok and very often they give the city-location.
They mostly operate around 1700 kHz and 3000 - 3100 kHz and these days rarely go down to 1650 kHz etc.
I have not looked the discussions in the forums here about Greek, Serbian and Russian, but I will do it later.
You would have thought that Russia would come down hard on any pirates. Perhaps they voice opinions about the government? Maybe Russia is not the authoritarian place many think it to be.
In Russia, pirate stations are of no interest to the authorities as long as anti-government topics are not discussed there. Pirates avoid the topic of politics. Those citizens who support the current government's policies live (I wouldn't say they live well), and those who are against... don't live at all or live outside of Russia.
