Hearing BOR (Blue Ocean radio) from about 0110Z, but currently
seems to have faded pretty low for me. Noise level is pretty high and the
signal is well in the noise level. Just barely hearing a signal at the moment.

0147Z Still playing blues, but don't know the song. Signal still very weak here.
0149Z Heard ID: "Blue Ocean Radio coming to you from the west coast".

0205Z Into a new blues song, but no surprise, I don't know the name of the song. :-)
Signal is a bit better for last little while, around S5. It's still fairly early in the evening,
so the signal may come up more yet as the evening progresses...
0207Z Another station ID.
0208Z Blues music program continuing... Lyrics: "They call it Stormy Monday"...
0213Z Prominent piano style blues tune.
0224Z Blues program continuing, but sig faded again for last few minutes. Just hearing the sig in there right now.
0228Z Signal came up a bit and into Station ID promos...
0230Z Blues music program continuing...
0239Z Station ID and announcement that OM will change the music theme a bit after the next set of blues tunes.
... and thanks for the shout outs BOR!
0253Z Station ID and station email adr for sig reports.
0254Z Sweet Home Chicago
0300Z Music program continuing....
0320Z Band may have started to change a bit, but not in my favor. Sig still S2 to S4 though, still hearing blues tunes,
but can't name most of the tunes. :-) Conditions not the greatest tonight...
Quite noisy tonight, maybe lots of lightning out there.
0325Z Station ID promos...
0330Z Station ID and announcements and shout outs. Announcement that the music theme is switching to
country. Will be playing from a George Jones album...
0358Z Country music still playing. Sig still S2 to S5, so holding in there...

I started to hear it at 4x, but at 15x we had a pretty good chaffinch ;-)
Peace!

That's funny! Good find. After hearing the sounds last night I was
fairly convinced that some pirate radio station was just playing some
strange sound effects, but didn't think to try speeding it up to see
what it sounded like.

Here's a short portion of my second sound sample from last night sped
up to 8X. It does sound an awful lot like a bird chirp:

Heys again!  Tuned in to 6925 USB at about 0556Z to hear more weird noises
on frequency, except this time they were different than last night,
but on at about the same time. The sounds stopped at about 0600Z.

I recorded a couple of minutes of the sounds I was hearing again this evening.
This time it sounds even more strange. As I am typing in
this message (0626Z), the sounds have started up again, but seem a bit more prominent now.
I have started recording again and will post a second sound clip since the
sounds seem a bit clearer now...

Here's the first sound clip I recorded from 0556Z to 0558Z:

Here's the second sound clip I recorded between about 0626Z to 0631Z:

So, I guess it could be one of the following:
1) The preferred digital transmission mode of banshees...
2) A SW radio pirate playing some strange noises...
3) A banshee has taken over a pirate radio station and is now making regular broadcasts...
4) ... ?

Note added later: The noises have been stopping and starting, and are still going on
at 0700Z, and still coming in fairly clearly. Seem to keep stopping and then starting up again
a bit later.

Heys! I see in another thread here that a few folks here have been hearing weird
repetitive sounds on 6925 USB lately, and a few have posted up some
recordings of what they have been hearing. I tuned into 6925 USB
this evening to hear a similar kind of repetitive noise. At about 0605 UTC
I recorded an audio sample of about 60 seconds duration of what I was hearing.

The signal was peaking at about S6  but averaging about S3 to S4, which was
right at my noise level, but you can still hear the sound pretty clearly in this
recording over the noise. I wonder if the signal/noise I was hearing could be some sort of digital
data transmission protocol? I am not up on all the different digital data transmission
protocols, so I am not sure, but it sounds a bit like some digital protocols sound.

Here's the sound sample of what I was hearing this evening. It stopped
a few minutes after I made this recording.

I did a search and found this. There was a comedy troupe in the late 70's and
through the 80's called 'Duck's Breath Mystery Theatre', that did comedy sketch performances
and radio skits mainly on national public radio.  One of their radio skits was the 'Sleepy Bear Coffee
Minute Mysteries' with Professor Nervo. It sounds like maybe someone has a recording
of some of their radio skits and rebroadcast one. :-)
