Equipment / Re: Line level input

What are you feeding audio from?  I've connected HT-40s in the past directly from a CD player and controlled the levels pretty well on the audio controls on the CD player. The HT-40's mike input was designed for crystal type microphones of the day.  ;)

General Radio Discussion / Introducing "PRB RELAYS"
« on: April 25, 2013, 1736 UTC »
Hi, this is your old pal Charlie Loudenboomer of Pirate Radio Boston. I've gotten together with Richard T.
Pistek, who used to run the NAPRS [North American Pirate Relay Service] back in the 90's, to establish a division of PRB called PRBRELAYS. We can relay programs not longer than 45 minutes with low power AM mode that can be well heard in the Northeast. For info, we have set up this email address:
prbrelays@gmail.com.

General Radio Discussion / Re: Recent FCC Activity on 6925 kcs.
« on: April 17, 2013, 1906 UTC »
This is not good news. Anytime one of ours "gets the knock" we all feel it. One wonders if sites like the hfunderground are visited by FCC people on a regular basis and the info we post here may aid them in enforcement. In that case we are becoming victims of our own success. :(
Comments anyone?
