Monitored D/V remotely in San Diego at 2200 UTC today (Sunday) using an FRG-8800 and a passive 6' whip matched to the coax feedline with a 15:1 Z-xfmr. D definitely had the better signal during fade ups with V only heard occasionally. Good test and the inverted-V dipole is best for coast-to-coast transmission.

Heard more promos for Voice of Doom Halloween broadcast. 0030 to 0100 UTC. Four transmissions spaced about 7 minutes apart. 6925 kHz. San Diego.
