Made it to New Zealand as well, tuned in to hear the last 6 minutes (including Mike & the Mechanics with 'Silent Running') after spotting your post.
Writing up my reception report now!

I have followed this past 0753 UTC from my NZL listening post and have been able to confirm via a better signal from Kiwi SDR CE4KTM in Chile.

Anyone know an email address for a DX report?

Here in New Zaland the carrier was observed on 5940.036 opening at 1659:30 UTC but there was never enough signal for confirming the transmission source.
By 1730 UTC the carrier had more or less settled at 5940.034.
VOA via Sao Tome transmission to Africa on 5939.997 was much stronger.

OOOps - this seems to be coming from SOUTH AMERICA as is also audible on Mendoza Argentina SDR, and Portuguese announcements heard.
Apologies for my posting error - please delete or move.

UNID European 6170.02 being heard in the South Pacific, also on the Ireland Northwest SDR at similar strength but unable to identify so far. Any suggestions?  Doesnt seem parallel to Radio Europa on 6129.98.

0730 UTC on 8 January and think I have them poorly into Northern New Zealand on 6930.98 drifting a little.  Anyone have a contact for this station?  Astonishing signal if really only 15 watts.

Fair signal into northern New Zealand since 0554 UTC tune in!  Possible announcement just before 0603 which I will need to review.

A good signal in the South Pacific since 0500 UTC tune in - Now listening to "Time to Say Goodbye" with Sarah Brightman & Andrea Bocelli, after identification. Great clarity! Reception report will follow.

Mystery solved.  Turns out I was hearing Unique Radio Australia on 5035 with 120 watts from Manilla NSW. Operator Tim says he left the station operating overnight and I was hearing an encore performance of 'The Dave Marley Experience'.

An eclectic music mix with occasional announcements at poor level heard here in the South pacific till fade out around 1938 UTC.
1827 UTC "Saturday Love" by Alexander O'Neal
1830 Announcement by male announcer.
1831 "Spend the Night" by the Isley Brothers.
1837 "Till the Cops Come Knockin" by Maxwell
Some minor interference from Radio Vanuatu on 5040.
Anyone know who this would be?

Also heard in New Zealand from 0826 UTC tune in until closedown at 0831 UTC after closing announcements.  Frequency measured at 15074.65

I heard a weak signal on this frequency yesterday - 9 October around 0615 UTC and am hearing it again today - 10 October, since tune-in at 0648 UTC with frequency varying to just above 6940. Right now, at 0722 UTC, its back to 6939.966.  Anyone else been hearing this?

I'm currently listening to Zenith Classic Rock on 6950 USB in Northland, New Zealand!
0529 UTC - Identification announcement/promos, then "Ride Captain Ride" by Blues Image
0533 UTC - "Heartbeat" by Red 7.
0537 UTC - "Love Ship" by Fox
I understand the station is Ireland-based but transmission is coming from Spain - can anyone confirm/QSL?

Periodically signal blocked by rapid pulses (over the horizon radar?) but otherwise good and clear.  SINPO 43343.  Thank you Zenith Classic Rock!

I can 'see' a transmission on 6295.03 listening here in New Zealand and make out some catchy music but reception very marginal. Great signal on an Iceland SDR though.
