:D Maybe one of 'em looks like someone famous...if so ask for an autograph. Go around your neighborhood & collect dog poop not picked-up (major problem here)  then... well just use your imagination. Wave a banana at them... :o

General Radio Discussion / Local law enforcement and antennas

I had a visit today by loco law enforcement asking me about my outside radio antenna.
They just wanted to know what it was and what it's purpose was.
I responded by asking them if my outside radio antenna was braking some law or rule and they said it was not. So i kindly declined to tell them its purpose and reminded them of personal property rights and my fourth amendment rights and asked them kindly to leave..

So someone makes a typo and you go all ape sh!t?

the video says in large letters in the upper right "FREQUENCY  120.14 KHZ"
AND???????

I DON'T GET WHAT YOU ARE SAYING SO FORGET IT!

The sound is coming from the radio so.. I.D.K what your deal is...

10
I don't get what your trying to imply

11
he shows the radio & it is set on 12014 Khz not 120.14. There,s a big difference. A G5 wouldn't even receive at that frequency.

You don't enter DOTS on that kind of radio... there is not even a DOT button!!!

12
The video guy seems to think he is hearing VOK on 120.14 KHz.

I did.. its is clearly playing in the video.. You can see and hear that its playing from the radio..

13
Thanks everyone.. Someone helped me find the VOK using my "grundig g5" also
