General Radio Discussion / Re: Global 24 Signs off
« on: March 10, 2015, 1602 UTC »
I got an inaugural broadcast QSL right before the new year, didn't pay for it either, , I thought they said that qsl's that came with a donation would go out quicker or something like that. It's numbered 261 of 2500. If I had a scanner I would post it.

I forgot to post this on 12-21-2014, heard DW on 9600khz from 05:34-05:53 utc. Looked it up and it said it was Rwanda relay, not bad for my little 1102 and longwire here in SW Missouri, sinpo  3434-3. Tried for a few days after and nothing, good bounce I guess, those are the kinda signals I love to catch!

« on: November 28, 2013, 1958 UTC »
New guy here, Radio Vanuatu, 3.945mhz, 09:42utc-10:14utc on 11-27-13. Noise and interference almost non existent, SINO, 1443. They were playing Beatles tunes, couldn't believe I caught this on my Tecsun PL-380 with 10ft wire. Audio VERY weak though.
