Adult standards style Xmas music and other music on 1620 0500 UTC. Very strong north of Toronto on both west and south antennas.

Back on 1710 at 2126, signal not as good there as 1720. Now gone... Signal cuts out here and there as well. Clearly testing IMO.

0216 heard end of pop music interspersed with dog barks and morse code, then ID, then gone. Now it's on 1720 and now at 0222 suddenly off after male ancr IDed and mentioned short people. Nice signal here at Burnt River ON, 100 miles ne of Toronto. My e-mail is schernos at sympatico.ca if WDOG wishes to QSL. Nice timing. I finally saw the movie Pirate Radio for the first time, a few nights ago. Dunno why I waited so long to see it.

MW Loggings / Re: Hearing Grateful Dead bootlegs on 1110

Turned out to be WJML 1110 Petoskey MI. Non stop Dead bootlegs. Still at it this evening. So not a pirate...

This has been going on well more than an hour. Aimed west, could be anywhere from south to northwest.  Mixing with WBT (dominant) and XERED (Mexico). In moderate at times. Not sure I've heard any talk but has faded often. These are clearly bootlegs ... I can tell from years of listening to their music.... 1110 seems an odd channel for a pirate. I have considered Petoskey MI but nothing on area SDR. Nothing on SDR near Pittsfield MA WUPE. NOT // Cadiz KY or Clinton AR. At a loss on this one... I have had a spur / image problem with my antenna, but this behaving like a fairly regular type station. I'm north of Toronto ON. It's Nov 20 2102 EST. 0202 UTC Nov 21. Saul C

Probably same as whoever is now on 1720...better on south antenna than on newbie ad hoc east-west wire...

Hearing Hot Blooded (Foreigner) and other rock on 1730 ... 2207 EST. I'm north of Toronto ON.

What was on 1720 could now be on 1730. Had a feeling I should check 1730, and happened on The Who, Baba O'Riley 1730...signal seems similar in strength etc... to the earlier 1720. I'm north of Toronto.

Sounds like something Dvorzak would compose. Best on south rather than west antenna. From north of Toronto ON, 22:20 UTC (17:10 EST). SINPO 44444 ... as it progresses seems more modern than Dvorzak... somewhere between Dvorzak and Vangelis ???

1710 adult standards to south 8 Nov 0143 UTC

South antenna best, weak on west.

1620 oldies/adult standards, likely pirate, on again. No talk between songs, not Rebelde or other known licenced station. Strong on south antenna from north of Toronto. Sun Nov 6 2245 EST.

Do we know each other? Happy to keep in touch re DX...

The reggae music will undoubtedly be WDHP. This has had 80s pop, mainly, and no reggae since I tuned in, so you can rule out the pirate for this. Mixing with Rebelde Cuba here, which also has had no reggae... not sure of your QTH.

I do wonder if this is the WEDG pirate Chris Smolinski reported this past June. But I have heard no IDs. South of me (southeast to southwest) seems likely... I'm 100 miles n.e. of Toronto.
