My first posting here. Greeting all of you HF enthouisiasts.
For those of you interested in this receiver. Its after WW2 made by or licenced made by Murphy Radio LTD.
Its a HF receiver CW AM RT ans SSB (depending on model). 640 kHz - 30MHz used by the British+Australian+NewZealand Swedish and Dutch Royal Navy/admitralty/ airforce. It weighs about 98Lbs= almost 50 kgs.
I am a specialised collector of these beasts. models are B40 B40A B40B B40C and B40D. Other receivers looking similar are B41 (VLF) and 62B more an entertainment receiver.
