0129: Just heard "Two Dog" spoken over a metal tune. S9+10 on the Northern Utah kiwi SDR. A solid band of deep red 3 KHz wide on the waterfall.

The last time I was in SD, things looked to be thriving.

Also, they make it seem like it's a big deal to go to Anaheim. In the west, people are accustomed to car drives. It's 90 miles away. People commute from SD to Orange County (Anaheim, Irvine, Mission Viejo, etc.) and vice-versa. Anaheim is more like 90 minutes, maybe 2 hours with bad traffic, but "a few hours away"? Ummm, no.

Who writes this shit?

At one point pretending to have a conversation with another Op that was supposed to be Zeeky.

Op put on a very overdone Massachusetts accent that at the end sounded a lot like a cross between that and Elmer Fudd.

Signal is weak and the synchronous detector helps a lot but there is music there.

0435 - ELO, "Telephone Line".
0437 - The signal is equivalent on the KPH SDR in California but much less noise there. COAST TO COAST COVERAGE.
0442 - Same story on the Northern Utah SDR.
0500 - "The current GPS time is midnight Eastern time. It is 5 AM London. End of transmission." TX off.

I'm thinking from the songs played, this is WWWW 

OK, I'm with you but didn't some station have time checks a few months ago?

0418 - "What did you guys do?" (I guess talking to the dogs) and suddenly off. A few seconds later, the initial guitar riff to Jethro Tull's "Aqualung" was heard but nothing more.

0246 - Very overdriven music. Just back off the mic gain a bit.
0247 - Maybe you heard me? Seems a bit better but still overdriven, especially on bass.
0250 - Op making adjustments. "That noise is still fucking in there." Yes, still some AC hum when on the microphone but not bad.
0252 - Op making bass adjustments. It's a lot better than it was. TNX.
0348 - Some cool spacey, trancey, maybe goth-ish music and what not for the past hour or something.
0403 - Someone having fun with sound effects.

It's called a multitone signal because there are multiple carriers (a carrier is sometimes called a "tone"). This can be a way to carry more information than just a single carrier.

Now at 0225 there is our "old friend" the military Link-11 signal at 6943.5 as well.
