Shortwave Broadcast / Re: RNZI 6115 AM 1428 UTC 17 Jan 2021

I can just hear Radio New Zealand International over the noise floor at 14:28z, 25 January 2021. The signal is bouncing up and down with propagation and averaging -100 dBm.

According to their schedule at https://www.rnz.co.nz/international/listen the target for this time frame is Pacific. To my location, this is approx 14,300 km (8,700 mi) across the Pacific Ocean.

A nice technical write-up of RNZI's shortwave operation is available at: https://www.rnz.co.nz/international/technical

The station is just too weak for me to make anything out. I can just hear the music, announcements and SSTV over the background noise. Listening from Toronto, Ontario Canada.

Thank you for the broadcast. It gave me the opportunity to try some serious DXing with my new BELKA-DX receiver acquired in late November. The transmission came in like a charm from within my home in Toronto Ontario Canada using the telescopic whip.

Anyone capture any Link 22 Tactical Digital Information Link (TADIL) audio samples or know of any active link 22 frequencies? Link 22 (STANAG 5522) is the next generation of Link 11 (MIL-STD-6011 / STANAG 5511).

This frequency is turning into a mess. I can hear multiple broadcasts simultaneously. Ball Smacker Radio in AM and Goat Cheese Radio in USB.

Thank you for the ID. I could hear this station mixed in with the Ball Smacker Radio broadcast. The station has had a weak signal but improving. An S6 at 03:39z. Broadcasting ID at 03:46z but too muffled to understand.

02:02 UTC 15 NOV 2020 6935.0 kHz LSB

00:11 UTC 27 NOV 2020 6910.0 kHz LSB
00:16 UTC 29 NOV 2020 6925.0 kHz LSB
01:15 UTC 29 NOV 2020 6935.0 kHz LSB
01:58 UTC 29 NOV 2020 6925.0 kHz LSB
00:59 UTC 02 DEC 2020 6925.0 kHz LSB
00:35 UTC 12 DEC 2020 6935.0 kHz LSB
00:30 UTC 13 DEC 2020 6925.0 kHz LSB
00:00 UTC 11 JAN 2021 6919.0 kHz LSB
