0056 S9+20 big signal. Nice to hear RFW back again tonight.

108
0055 S7 but continued noisy conditions tonight.

109
0245 I see them on the panadapter but they are not very audible tonight.

0243 Good S9 signal but some interference from a pretty strong utility.

111
0242 S8 to S9 tonight but I am getting some local interference nearby.

112
0240 Radio Free Spirit is S9 here tonight.

0023 Back again with "Wheel in The Sky". About S7 or so. Pretty readable despite static crashes. I think the ID was Radio Mushroom? OM mentioned something about nukes. Perhaps the reference is to mushroom clouds.
0025 Sounds like Bob Seger. Music fidelity is a bit thin.
0028 OM with phone call saying they took over a nuclear power plant for the broadcast.
0029 "Pink Houses" by John Mellencamp.

0006 S8 and sounding good with shout outs. "Take Your Aim" by Rocket. Some intermittent interference from a utility.
0021 Thanks for the shout out.
0036 OM with the sign off.

Confirms my earlier post as to why Ballsmacker may have suddenly dropped in signal strength.

Per Spaceweather.com - SURPRISE GEOMAGNETIC STORM... This was not in the forecast. An unexpected G2-class geomagnetic storm occurred during the early hours of May 17th, sparked by the glancing blow of a CME. Originally expected to miss Earth, the CME was launched on May 12th by an erupting magnetic filament in the sun's northern hemisphere. The ejecta was wider than models predicted, and some of the debris struck Earth after a 4-day tansit from the sun.

0156 Big signal here on Long Island tonight at S9+10. Interesting that they are weak in MA. They are strong enough here to come over the static crashes from thunderstorms in the Hudson Valley.
0205 They were on, then they were gone.
Watch it Quasar!
0207 Conditions have collapsed. Even Ballsmacker up the band has faded into the noise. I wonder if there is a solar storm underway.

0146 Getting crushed by static crashes here. I can't even detect a signal tonight.

118
0118 S9+20 with Shania
0209 Conditions have collapsed here. I wonder if a solar storm is underway. They are barely audible here right now.

0057 V-Sky sounding very good at S9+10 with good audio quality.

0123 A bit light here due to static crashes from regional thunderstorms.
