Time: 5/20/2012 0828UTC - 0952UTC
Frequency: 6925KHz
Mode: Upper Sideband
SINPO: Starting 34223 trending to 24222

Content in chronological order:

Track with a strong lead guitar
Alternative rock track
Slower track than before
Another track, but now fading into the noise floor
LL Cool J track
The Humpty Dance by Digital Underground

Personal notes:

For me, there is relatively high noise floor tonight with plenty of static crashes, thus the lack of much song identification. I rerouted audio to Spectrum Lab for DSP processing some time around the LL Cool J track, after which I was able to clearly identify the Digital Underground track.

Good show! Hopefully my local noise floor will not be as rough next time around.

About the same here in west central FL: a strong signal with little fading.

Thanks for the DARPA links, Chris. I did not search that far last night and been busy today.

Also, sure enough, it is currently on 6950USB. 53344 @ EL88.

Just checked the freq. Still broadcasting, and still repeating the same phrases. Someone's warped idea of a beacon, perhaps?

Repeating audio.

These are apparently common statements used for speech analysis.

A quick and dirty (poor quality) recording is attached.
