Actually had a modulated carrier there for a minute . Lots of noise and music heard .

Will be listening hard .But now it is like listening to a ghost through time and space.

Propagation was long mainly into Mexico /Texas  when I started, it will shorten up most likely and bring it into central US as the afternoon goes on.

Perhaps I will repeat the programs, and see where it takes us.This band can be all over the place.

Hey everyone

Conditions seemed pretty good so I'm going to give 27.980 +-AM  a try for the nest 2 or so hours .
Would be great to get some more reports from the high bands.

On air will be Radio Free Manitoba episode 2, and maybe, 1 or 2 Paranoia News North Shows from Hans the Inquisitive.

Light em if you got em!

General Radio Discussion / NRS Open for new material
« on: April 13, 2011, 2221 UTC »
First off ,I would like to say what a nice site this is. Gentlefolk all around.

I wanted to get in here today to say that we are still open to new material for the air.
We run high power AM and have a pretty good coverage of the MID-western portion of North America. This last sentence in NO way insinuates anyone else isn't running high power,or reaching the west(disclaimers I have learned are needed). We do not expect exclusivity from anyone. We are in this to have fun and watch the tubes glow.

If you have anything you would like to see go to air on shortwave ,drop us a line. Make sure that the show is ready for air in a MP3 format.

Second ,don't believe all you read these days. There has been some pretty crazy stuff put out there lately and patience has prevailed to reveal the real truth. We're pretty sure most have had the sense to take it all with a grain of salt over the shoulder.Keep your ears to the rail everyone ,this is the internet and there are wolves behind every corner. It serves its purpose ,but this is all about radio right ! Lets not forget that,I know we haven't.

See you on the airwaves

Glad we are making it out somewhere. The days are getting longer and longer here so our transmissions will be getting later all the time, till June 21 anyways. We will likely get into the mid-western and western parts of NA much better.

Of coarse you guys down there are already getting that nasty static season. We are still a month off that.
But it will come, sure as winter will again.

Any and all comments are welcome as we are always trying to improve things.

Glad you enjoyed the show ! We plan on transmitting more and more up there as the cycle gets better (if it does). The daytime potential is great for complete coverage of all lower 48 and Canada on this band. Not to mention the rest of the world when it is really good. It is a nice quiet and fairly stable band when the MUF is high.

All that to say "Keep your ears on big buddy ! " 8)
