You'd definitely need a bigger mirror to get Kim Kardashians a$$ to fit. Much bigger.

Making the trip well into northern Canada tonight. The band is HOT! I wish there were more stations on.
Heard Kiss "I was made for lovin' you" and a remake of The 'Stones "Paint it Black". About S-3 to S-5 over noise of S-2.
Always great to hear you!

Northern Relay Service just came on. Seems to be high energy dance music as interval signal, then voice and CW I.D.
Strongest it's been in a while at S-5 to S-7 but still a fair bit of QRN.

I'm guessing it's NRS going by the freq but I can't say as I haven't heard an I.D. yet.
Not terribly strong at S-3 to S-5 and the band is crappy tonight.

Nice S-5 signal into north Canada. A few fades but good signal on an otherwise crappy band.

I can hear OM talking and music on 6930 but too weak to I.D.   I'm gonna guess NRS judging by the freq but I can't say as I haven't heard an I.D.

Thank you. I wasn't attempting to "start" anything with or about Andrew. If I could, I would retract the statement I made because this has already gotten bigger then I intended.  I stand by it, I just wish I had kept my thoughts to myself.

Hearing faint music, OM announcer "This is ??? Radio", repeated "This is ??? Radio". The voice is stronger then the music but dang, I couldn't pull out the full I.D.

I'm not critical of the book otherwise, I love it, read it cover to cover several times, and rely on it to I.D. and contact stations. I've corresponded with Andrew personally and respect him tremendously. But this year he has GOT to edit the CB entry.

You know, one of the bizarre things (among MANY!) is that until this mess with the rodent started we didn't have to worry about identities. I mean lets face it, the only ones that CARED about identities were the furreh crowd so that they could intimidate and bother the rest of us.
When I used to be on the Furreh Radio Network site I was a victem of the sock puppets. They dangled my personal info over my head and would occasionally release little bits to the public in an attempt to intimidate me. Remember Arctic Arab Radio from last year? Yeah, that's them releasing my Ebay I.D. I'm wetting myself in fear. Maple Leaf Radio from last year? Yup, same thing. I'm all a fluster. They released that I used to play bass in high school. I'm hanging my head in shame. So I figured what the hell, I posted my full name, Ham call and address to take some wind out of their sails. They deleted it from the site. So here goes, ya floppy eared pathetic freak. I drive a Dodge truck. You could post a reception report of Dodge Truck Radio. THAT would really scare me. I live on Elm Crescent. Elm Crescent Radio? I'll mess my pants.
All this started because they ASSumed I was Northern Relay Service. I'm not. But why would it really matter if I was?
Every year Yoder publishes in his book that CB is such a great asset to Pirate Radio. I have to call Bullship on that one.

So lets see; he's made his Furreh Radio Network site so that it's populated by sock puppets, and now he's made his OWN site so it's (his) friends only? If his only friends are sock puppets what's he going to talk about? Interesting.

Me too, I was out in the shop working on new old toys...
Six was supposed to open and I checked the pirate band frequently but all I heard was lots of atmospheric noise.

Got a fairly strong (S-5) station playing music on 6930. Posted this before waiting for an I.D.

But CBC also folds like a house of cards. Remember Disclosure? It got too close to the truth. Paul Martin had a meeting and it was no more.

Yeah, and guess what? Martin was a LIBERAL! (I just added that for our American friends. Canadians are well aware of the shamefull record.)

The golden years of the CBC were the '60's and '70's. Peter Gzowski and Barbara Frum delivered the sort of relaxed but thorough interviews that would make modern wonder kids green with envy. But it all changed. Their relentless support of the Liberal party through patronage scandal after patronage scandal borders on the treasonous. The only bright and shiney object in their line up is Wendy Mesley. Not only does she look yummy in a subtle, dominating kind of way, but she is a hard hitting journalist that can make corrupt politicians (except Liberals) cry. And she LIKES to make them cry...
