R. Free Whatever on 6949.02 now playing Rock music.  Only fair at best.  Very noisy conditions this evening.  Sorry guys.  I had this as an UNID at first, otherwise I would have added to Chris' logging.  Just got the canned ID jingle between songs.

Found 'Old Time Radio' on a new 3194.71 kHz this morning at 0841 UTC, 6 September 2014.  It was sandwiched between WWRB and WWCR.  Here's what it looked and sounded like;

Good but fady S8 signal here in south-central PA at 2251 on 6950.61.  Moduation seems just a tad distorted.

6770.01   'Old Time R.'   0049 found here w/band mx in distorted audio, then comedy w/Bob Hope.  The 90mb went off the other day after being on 24h a day nearly all week.  (25 August)

Here's a link to a video made from reception of the 3204.701 station playing old radio and TV (thanks Glimmer Twin) shows.  In the video, there are clips from every hour.  It was last heard with audio at 1440 UTC which was well past 4 hours after local sunrise here.  I checked around 6770 but didn't find anything.  Here's the link:

Looks like that old time radio Pirate is back on.  On the air now at this odd time 1041 UTC on 3204.7.  Old radio pgms like I heard on 3389.73 on July 8th.  "My Sister Irene".   End of the pgm at 1029 w/CBS ID, then another pgm "The Fred McMurray Show". Decent signal but quick fades and noisy.

Just found Northwoods Radio with a huge signal on 6925U playing a string instrument version of Red Hot Chilipeppers song at 1204, 3 August 2014.  ID at 1205.  Very nice signal.  I'll make a video a little later.

Last evening, 2 August 2014 UTC date, caught R. Gallifrey Intergalactic on 6950U from about 0005 UTC.  Thanks for the ID from Chris (I can't remember but was that you Chris Smolinski??) in Ianns chat.  Didn't hear any official voice ID but there was what I thought was SSTV at the end of the broadcast at 0037 UTC.  Tried decoding it but came up empty.  Thought it might be RTTY, recorded the audio, and zoomed in.  It looked like code but just came up with jibberish.  Anyway, a nice strong signal and clear.  Here's a link to a video I made;

I also heard the unidentified station on 6925.32 kHz here in PA in the 0242-0251 UTC time period, 27 July 2014.  Here's a link to my reception.  First some music, then an unreadable announcement.  Anyone know who this was??  Tough copy due to the weak signal and very noisy conditions.  Here's the link to the video;
