Following up on my original post of this over the past months... 87.7 is regular. For quite a while, it seemed like a TV re-broadcast. The last time I was finally able to ID the TV channel (by way of hosts mentioned... interestingly never verbally gave an ID) and it was KSTP-TV ch 5 (at least it was KSTP-TV around Christmas when I went through. Perhaps they change sources?)

I figure its a hotel/restaurant/other in this part of the metro that's rebroadcasting audio on FM for some reason.

Very nice.

Next year, can you break out US & European pirates separately with respect to monthly, daily, time of day, and possibly band?

My NC-183D is happy to see that AM is on the rise, as it should be. Sure, more power, but sounds so much better. Especially in stereo. 

I must also plead laziness in not logging as much as I should. For 2015, I'll try harder.

1635Z 35433 S7 Asian language YL (Chinese?) with music. Decent signal, but no ID yet from 1631-1636 UTC. Short-wave.info has listed as SOH in Chinese. But also has listed 0.1 kW. Either propagation is fantastic or 100W is wrong.

1649Z 25422 S6 Signal dropping. S5 noise.

1700Z Off.

Never heard an ID.

Some odd propagation here as well this morning (Dec 13, 2014)

Its 1803 UTC and listening to 540. Normally get WXYG from Sauk Rapids solid with no other stations, however, currently WXYG is weak and KWMT from IA is mixing with them, both of roughly equal strength. Loop is aimed towards WXYG. If I turn the loop to put WXYG in the null, it does go away and KWMT comes in very strong. Can't remember picking KWMT up this strong before.

Great show tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sounded fantastic in C-QUAM, the very manliest of modes (sorry RML, while USB is indeed manly, and the manliest of traditional modes, however C-QUAM takes the cake).
