Very good reception from the Botswana Tx 3z to 4z , hitting S9+ with very little noise or fading.
International edition program /Topics include politics in Zimbabwe, questions about Niger unanswered, discussion of  Iran ,report concerning pollution and how it affects people, presidential use of Twitter, Snapchat use among teens.

Switch to Sao Tome @4z  with a much weaker and noisy signal , although listenable.

Reception has been very good lately. Tonight booming in clear enough to hear the id loop in Portuguese give the station name and frequency @ 302z . The same loop was played at 336z.

They are playing the usual regional music , but I heard some reworked tunes of North American origin.
@351 Fauzi Beydoun and Tribo De Nah/ world in  a Transition, which is straight out Reggae.
Solid audio despite ugly atmospherics and radar swishing.

There are numerous complaint threads over at Antique Radio Forum. The answers are always 3 months plus if you are lucky. The guy doesn't answer email or reassure anyone, so there are many like yourself . They say you will eventually get it, but there's no set time. Many people have become upset by this business model, so you're not alone.
I built a kit from Antique Electronic supply using a 12 SA7 vac tube . It stays on just about 24_7 , I am quite happy with it , it does fine, but doesn't have the extra features of the SSTran.  I can direct you to threads using a 386 chip that they say is just as good, although it DIY.
I can't say what's involved in getting your money back, I think you'll have to wait it out.
