For Sale: Icom 756Pro HF+6m xcvr with the color bandscope.   Asking: $700 shipped (OBO).

Full Disclosure: The internal ATU never worked (bought it that way) so an external tuner is suggested. No mic (takes any Icom eight-pin round connector) or box, but does come with full-length DC power cord and both Op and Svc manuals in binders.

LDG Z-100Plus autotuner that works great with the Pro with instruction sheets and box: $100 shipped. Or buy the pair for $750.

I've got a PT-2 in decent condition (considering age) in the front room closet. It works but my Pro3 has a much lower noise floor. Make offer if you can use it.

I took a look in my parts bin hoping I had some MV2113 or MV2114s. What I do have is a pair of MV2109s and a pair of MV2115s. If either of those will work for you, let me know and I'll be happy to send 'em to ya.

OTOH, I highly doubt that these are your problem.

This is terrible news; JC has been involved in the Free Radio scene for a long time. He founded what was then the FRN BBS, and later migrated it to the internet.

I met John several times (including at the Fest) and always enjoyed talking to him. He certainly deserves a better fate than this.
