Shortwave Broadcast / Worst RHC signal of the year.....
« on: December 01, 2018, 1939 UTC »
15140 KHZ @ 19:13 UTC 1 Dec 18 (13:13 CST Local).   Schedules state this is a broadcast in Arabic to Western North America but the static and over-modulation was so atrocious  I had a difficult time ascertaining what the O/M was trying to say and in what language he was trying to say it (it may have been Spanish).  I DID pick up an ID at 19:20 and again at 19:30 when they either QRT'd or I lost the signal altogether.    Sources indicate that this broadcast is TX'd out of Bauta.   If it is they ought to just blow it up and start all over again.
