DGPS Loggings October 29-30, 2016

I almost was not going to run recordings that night, but fortunately decided to.  I heard Cabo Carvoeiro Lt, Portugal on 311.5 kHz for the first time ever, which also gives me my best distance to date, 5,646 miles. Madeira also came in last night, I have received them several nights now, in fact they are becoming a regular now.

Three logs from the Netherlands on 302 kHz, but they could be corrupted messages from Panama. Single messages from Turkey on 307.5 and Spain on 303.5. Difficult to say if they were legit, but as there are no domestic stations on the 0.5 kHz channels, it is curious. Something to watch for in future recordings.

I am presenting the full list of what Amalgamated DGPS claims to have decoded for completeness, although I am not considering the stations above Portugal on the list as definite, except probably Appleton, WA which is a regular here.

Chris, thanks for the software. Have it running under Win 8.1 with SDR Console V3. Been running about 35 min. and have two 1 hits on Australia and Scotland.

Plus about 10 more using live audio with a 7kHz filter.

Glad to hear Amalgamated DGPS is working for you, Fred.  FWIW, I generally consider most stations with 1, or even a few, decodes to be corruptions of other stations, especially supposed decodes from Australia, etc. I find the graph window a handy tool to see what else what being heard on the same frequency at about the same time, and therefore was likely to be the actual station heard.

Yes, suspected as much. The program did stop and throw and error message after about an hour or so. I saved a screen capture but then shut the computer down and lost it but if it happens again I will make sure to send something along. I restarted the program and ran it all night last night and this morning it was still chugging along.

When installing I installed as an administrator and installed it to the C:\DGPS decoder\AmalgamatedDGPSWindows". When running I also select run as administrator. Don't know if it makes a difference by I know that YaDD, YaND, and some others operate better this way.
