UNID 6969 ? 0435 UTC 31 JUL 2022
« on: July 31, 2022, 0440 UTC »
Is anyone else hearing an intermittent sig on 6969?
It mostly sounds like a very over modulated sig and
sometimes sounds better(?) using NFM; other times
it sounds better in ECSS-U. It might be a local spur
but I don't think it is???

0451 - Thanks, Harry. If you are hearing something,
then it's not likely some kind of local crud.

6969 kHz is always used by Cold Country Canada and their mode is LSB. I didn’t hear it myself (wasn’t listening) but there is a very high chance this was Cold Country Canada in LSB.

Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using an SDRPlay RSP1A for SWL with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet. Kenwood TS-570D for ham use.
