Here are a few words explaining our guesses about the means of communication of Russian troops in Ukraine (by wp.pl portal):
The Ukrainian troops took over the Russian BMP combat vehicle with equipment.
In addition to the two-way radios Motorola, was there portable radio R-168 "Aqueduct", operating in the frequency range from 30.0 to 108 MH. It is used for radio communication in harsh conditions and provides open, masked or secret radio communication. It has built-in functions such as temporary channel separation or protection of cryptographic information. The radio station enables simultaneous transmission of both speech and data. In the VHF band, it provides communication for a distance of 30 km in traffic and 70 km when it stays in one place and for a distance of up to 350 km in the HF band.
The seized equipment may increase the reconnaissance and detection capabilities of enemy units and military equipment by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Collecting such data is essential when planning offensive operations.
