2326z - Pink Floyd - Sorrow

0045z - S9+15 on peaks. Nice
0059z - Cluck, Cluck, Cluck and off.

Thanks for the show.

Good solid S9 signal here. For some reason, every time I tune in it sounds like there's interference from a STANAG station, but now I'm wondering if it's some intentional or unintentional background incorporated into this station's signal (the waterfall also bears the hallmark of a STANAG digital signal; maybe there's something encoded in there???).

I think you might be hearing the wide QRM on the band. I first noticed it a few days ago and it spans from 6935-6980 kHz and is very strong. It is much stronger on SDR’s in Europe so it probably originates from there. I don’t know what it is, other than annoying.

Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using an SDRPlay RSP1A for SWL with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet. Kenwood TS-570D for ham use.
