I'm enjoying the multi-hour show. When you work for days to put shows together, it always seemed like a waste not to go for a few hours. About a S8 with Ian trying to poke his head up.

Sony ICF 2010 portable with random wire antenna on grass via shielded cable input.

29 Sept 2022
6955 USB
0134z Radio Free Whatever ID, new rock alternative slogan. Peaky fadey signal, S1-S7
0137z more slogans, RFW ID
Don't recognize any songs but good stuff.
0041z OM op , incredible edible egg, Acid Tongue?, shout-out from op. Howdy, back atcha. I was juggling my headset and missed the song title and band ID.
0055z Failure, Saturday Savior
0058z closeout ID, best of show, getting late, got some VR gaming to do.

Great music, fun to catch new stuff to put on my jogging playlist. Signal was improving by end of show, steadier with fewer fades, was able to ID songs by Googling lyrics while sitting in the yard.

Yeah, it faded a bit, but that was likely due to the signal going long as the evening progressed. Maybe pirates can bounce signals off of Musk's Starlink for better coverage in close. That funny lookin' guy has to be good for something.
