BallSmacker Radio 6960.0 kHz AM 01:56 UTC 12 NOV 2022

01:56 UTC - Carrier is up; hovering around an S7 with some fading;
01:58 UTC - Interval signal; signal is low on 6960.0 kHz but sounding much better on 4030.0 kHz;
02:00 UTC - Broadcast begins;
02:05 UTC - Starting to loose the 4030.0 kHz frequency as well. Weak barely readable now and 6960.0 kHz is buried in the noise floor, unreadable;
02:10 UTC - The 4030.0 kHz frequency seems to now have come back and is readable;
02:14 UTC - It looks like the 4030.0 kHz frequency is plagued with deep fades. Unreadable again;
03:42 UTC - SSTV;
03:45 UTC - End of broadcast. Can also hear someone else on the 4030.0 kHz frequency after the sign-off.

Note: As mentioned in the broadcast announcement, there is the potential of a simulcast this week on 4030.0 kHz USB eSSB.

Monitoring also available via the live stream: BallSmacker Radio
eQSL and reception report via the e-mail address provided at BallSmacker Radio

I only have an S4 noise floor, but I can hear NOTHING.  No trace of a signal here in Charles Town WV.  This is VERY unusual!

I could  hear 4030, was copyable, then suddenly JUMPED to 15 DB over S9.

I still hear nothing on 6960.  Even if I flip over to SSB, not a single peep of a signal.

Icom 7300 with G5RV INSIDE the attic, unless specified otherwise.

Too many radios to list.  Mini-whip, Home-brew Mag-loop, are also on the antenna switch.

0057 open carrier, 0058 "Wildfire" IS,  0200 IS incl. frequency, bowling pin strike sfx over intro to "Where it's at" - Beck,

S8.  Strong QRN makes listening difficult.

SINPO=13111

Could barely make out the faintest trace of the IS prior to 200, and after that haven't been able to copy music or IDs.
All reception from this location, radio and antenna.
QTH New Hampshire (70 miles north of Boston).
Tecsun S-8800 and Kenwood R-2000, with about 135 feet of wire thrown up in the trees.
eQSLs most appreciated to molvaniapoacher@gmail.com.

It's not quite official...but it looks like we'll be targeting 4030 as our usual winter home.  Thanks for all of your reports.  We'll be back on 6960 sometime in Feb/Mar.  In the past we've followed the time change.  Dual eQSL tonight.
