Black Swan International 6925 USB 0415 UTC 27 November 2022
« on: November 27, 2022, 0439 UTC »
Trance music. Automated robotic voice ID makes it hard to understand.
"Last Call Black Swan International. We are calling the west coast of North America on the 43 Meter band.": https://voca.ro/13s68ok5hIvz

Barely audible at my home due to local noise, though noise blanker helps. Recording above came from a CA SDR.

I had to step away for a few minutes. Came back at 0508 and seems to be gone.  :(

I don't STRETCH the truth.

Every minute Charlie squats in the bush, his signal gets stronger."

ID sounded like Black Swan here
Yup, 0442z repeated IDs, "Black Swan International, we are calling the West Coast of North America on the 43 meter band."
More spooky techno. Shazam and Google say Arabic trap music genre, ARAAZ "Live Like Raees," others in general techno genre.
Tough copy all around, I'm getting better reception at home with an indoor antenna in Texas than any of the SDRs I've tried so far on both sides of the continent. And my reception is peaky/fadey through heavy local RFI. Recording off speaker with phone, which won't be great.
0454z Okay, fair to good copy over low noise via PA SDR. About same signal strength as my home rx, but less fading and much lower noise. Will record for later.
0500z Improving to Penisylvania SDR, fading out at home. Some ute QRM, OTHR and other, but not too bad.
0501z off or paused. Not sure I ever caught a clear ID via the PA SDR recording. My own phone recording will be pretty bad.

Two recordings via these links. One is good, via a Pennsylvania SDR with good outdoor antenna and location: https://ia601407.us.archive.org/4/items/black-swan-intl-home-receiver-texas-27-nov-2022-11-0445-utc-6925-usb-trimmed/Black-Swan-International_Penn-SDR_27Nov2022_0500UTC_6925kHz_trimmed.mp3

The other was recorded with my phone next to the speaker, not great but gives an idea of the peaky/fadey conditions here. Black Swan ID clearly audible in the PA SDR recording (at 4:35, I think), and just barely audible but muffled at 4:00 on my recording:

That would make sense.

Got Black Swan over here too. Very Strong S20+ w/ music.
0450-Techno Continues, signal has dropped off quite a bit into the S5-7 area.
0452-Black Swan ID again.
0456-Sounds like some sort of oriental rap song. Now down in the dirt a bit, S1-3/mixing with some sort of OTH radar? noise at times.
0502-Gone??

I know it is music, but the modulation is in my noise floor at ~0454z. Very faint and intermittent trace in the waterfall.
