SS5 on 10.715 MHZ cuban with dat HM01 ?
« on: March 29, 2013, 2300 UTC »
Very strong signal here in Troy, Ohio at 2220 utc

They seem to be doing another call up now at 2300 utc

I suspect this is what is being called HM01 but not sure I've only gotten back into the listening mode after a number of years of inactivity.

Rigs are Yaesu FT-817nd and Sangean ATS-505 random for now because I am living in an apartment <sigh>

skeezix, the desmoface video is also HM01, but it is the first part of HM01 and he stops the video at the first data burst.  HM01 starts off several minutes of sending the same 6 five figure groups over and over before going into the alternating voice and data.

This video here is the first 10 minutes of an HM01, including both the voice only and about 9 cycles of the alternating voice / data.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxGif6WfPJk

Ohhhhh....

I didn't listen all the way to the very end. Listened to nearly all of it and never heard the digital stuff.  :-[

Same here in SW Ontario. I also jumped on  U of Twente's WebSDR (antenna in Holland) and could hear the transmission, but faintly.
