« on: December 21, 2022, 2057 UTC »
Good reception
2055 I heard "Broadcasting all over the northeast" twice by YL, other stuff hard to hear
2057 Frequency given "6-9-5-oh kHz"
2058 Ambient music
Thanks for ID, Beer Guy  ;)
2100 YL talking but noise floor caught most of it
2102 "Happy Shortest Day Of The Year", several times
2103 Ambient music
2107 Sounds or music continue but noise increasing
2109 Computer YL ID (pronounced "UN-I-D")& Frequency, more ambient music - noise abating
2112 YL again "________ from all of us to you"
2113 YL talking again, maybe about the sun.  However, noise and music make it hard to decipher.
2116 YL with talk about distance to sun "It has nothing to do with the solstace", several times
2117 "The Solstace" several times   Didn't The Solstace back Iggy Pop?  ;)
2121 YL with stream of (un)consciousness
2123 YL talking about sun & solstace
2125 "....people were economically dependent....first month of the winter..."
2137 "Thank you for tuning in, have a good night"

There was a pretty clear "UNID TONES" ID in a computer YL voice a minute ago. Then something said about carbon based life forms, then back into ambient electronic music.

S9+10 with the K3FEF KiwiSDR.

2112 UTC-Computer YL talking over ambient electronic music
2116 UTC-Next song in the same style, computer YL talking about the sun?
2116 UTC-“It has nothing to do with the solstice” repeated several times
2121 UTC-Changed to a different computer YL voice (maybe with an Indian accent?), possible mention of India then nothing understood
2123 UTC-Back to the first voice
2124 UTC-Next song in the same style
2126 UTC-Talking about the solstice
2128 UTC-Waterfall images over the music, hard to see because of the music modulation, they say “UNID TONES” and “HAPPY SOLSTICE”
2131 UTC-Waterfall image that says “QSL sent if you log on HFU”
2137 UTC-“UNID Tones, thank you for tuning in. Have a good night”
2138 UTC-OFF

Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using a Sony ICF-2010 with a 25 meter (80 ft) longwire antenna in a tree.
