Nuttin on Shortwave 6925 USB 2347 UTC 27 JAN 2023
« on: January 27, 2023, 2347 UTC »
jazzy mx and no ID so far at 2347
45333, good signal
2347: "Listen Here" - Eddie Harris
2349: OM - "Shorrrtwaaave" then repeated later
2351: bells clanging, barnyard animals (cows, chickens)
2352: "Shorrtwaaave" repeated -> heavy metal mx "... Do the cracker ... everybody do it now"
2354: OM "The Crusher" , "having a good time here tonight" -> clock pealing ->
2355:  "Hells Bells" - AC/DC
45444, S+N: -81 dBm, SNR: 9.5
0000: Call out to DangerKitty, HappyWanker and others. "Listening to the Crusher".  ShortwaveListener got the Radio Botswana ID. --> "Shoot to Thrill" - AC/DC
0008: "What Do You Do For Money Honey" - AC/DC; if that man singing keeps screaming like that, he's going to be like a sick pony - a little hoarse.
0018: "Let Me Put My Love Into You" - AC/DC (Better use protection!)
0025: "Funkify Your Life" - The Meters (the metric version of The Yards), followed by multi-topic discusson
0033: "Fart Project 5 "The Lawn Mower" - Fartclops (What a Gas!)
-- Getting occasional QRM from some digital signal --
0037: QRM pretty well wiping out NOS Radio

Thank you for the broadcast!

Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using an SDRPlay RSP1A for SWL with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet. Kenwood TS-570D for ham use.

Heard the Crusher talking and pronouncing the station name in ways to keep it from being understood. Funny to listen too. Good music and very good signal at S7. No fading. Thanks for the show.

That's what I thought that was, Harry. Let's call it Botswana for now. If it turns out to be another interval signal we can edit our posts and appear to be brilliant Radio Gods.
