26110 FM KOVR Sacramento, CA. 1724z 4/20/2013
« on: April 20, 2013, 1727 UTC »
FM audio fading in and out from a television show, presumed from the KOVR-TV STL in Sacramento, CA.  No other STL's noted right now here.  It's amazing the BOGs pick up anything this high in frequency :-)

1732z: Sacramento weather forecast given, I guess this confirms it!

Nice catch! I have tried for this one but never heard it, just the three on 25910/25950/25990.

Nice.  I've never seen a STL outside of the usual 25910, 25950 and 25990 either.

Next time you hear STLs around the top of 25MHz and the bottom of 26MHz, look for taxicab dispatchers in AM as well.  I've seen them as low as 25.615 MHz.
U.S. East Coast, various HF/VHF/UHF radios/transceivers/scanners/receivers - land mobile system operator - focus on VHF/UHF and 11m

Unless they speak English, I wouldn't know the difference.  I catch a lot of Spanish comms between 26-28 mHz but I've forgotten most of my high school Spanish :-)
