2119 Classical music (Handel's Water Music I believe), very good SIO 555 signal here.
2123 Bach's Air on the G String now
2127 Mix Radio ID heard as Vivaldi's Spring Concerto (from the Four Seasons) begins. Clearly a "baroque greatest hits" program. :D
2131 the second movement to Spring had started when there was a strange sound effect and then the music was gone.
2132 THEY MOVED TO 11950 USB.
2138 Mix ID with a bit of Mozart, but changed to something else afterward
2148 Mandolin concerto by Vivaldi
2159 Also sprach Zarathustra, Richard Strauss
2200 4th movement (adagietto) from Mahler's Fifth Symphony
2209 MRI ID
2210 Finlandia, by Sibelius
2218 Flight of the Bumblebee by Rimsky-Korsakov
2220 famous solo violin with orchestra piece, can't remember what it's called. Slow movement to someone's violin concerto?
2225 I think this is one of the pomp and circumstance marches by Elgar
...
2248 A Strauss waltz, not sure which one. :)
2249 Mix Radio ID over the William Tell overture
2250 Bolero, by Ravel
...
2328 now a Mozart violin concerto (no. 3 I think?)
...
0005 Still excellent signal in Denver. Another Mozart violin concerto, but switched to Eine Kleine Nachmusik as I was posting this.
0031 Mozart, overture to Don Giovanni
0110 still Mozart, 40th symphony (first movement)
0114 Beethoven, "Moonlight" Sonata
0125 slow movement of Haydn's Surprise symphony
0140 sounds like a string quartet. Still excellent signal here
0143 Beethoven's Fifth Symphony
...
Went to check at 0217 but signal's gone. Thanks for the big classical show!
...
0243 indeed it's on 11935 now. Still a good signal. I had scrolled earlier so maybe they were still in the process of deciding where to transmit.
0319 MRI ID

Weak reception direct, based on the last MRI broadcast in this band it could improve later.

As expected, good signal at 2336 UTC.

2224 UTC-Classical music, weak

2336 UTC-Flute Concerto in G Minor, "La Notte": VI. Allegro by Budapest Strings, Béla Bánfalvi & Zoltán Gyöngyössy
2341 UTC-Oboe Concerto (feat. Various Artists) by Costanzo
2343 UTC-Concerto Grosso in A minor, Op. 6, No. 4, HWV 2322 by Max Pommer, Leipzig Bach Collegium & New Bach Collegium Musicum Leipzig
2354 UTC-Mix Radio International ID
2355 UTC-Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No.5 in A major, K 219 - Adagio by Christian Altenburger; German Bach Soloists; Helmut Winschermann, conductor
0005 UTC-Petite Musique De Nuit - Allegro (Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart) by 165 Oeuvres Incontournables De Musique Classique

At times I doubt the accuracy of Shazam.

Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using an SDRPlay RSP1A for SWL with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet. Kenwood TS-570D for ham use.

Tuned in at 2331 utc on Barrington Hills IL sdr with weak but clear S5-S7 signal, ID as "Mix Radio International" by female, various nice classical music selections,

Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com
