HB Radio #5 on 5130 4/20 EDT?
« on: April 20, 2023, 2203 UTC »
I know that the 5130 transmitter had some problems and I'm not sure if HB Radio #5 will be on the air tonight or not. It's scheduled for 11 PM EDT/10 PM Central, which is 0300 UTC on 4/21. I'm playing it by ear right now & if I hear anything, I'll post on this thread. Otherwise, there's always a chance that the show could pop up at a later date on 5130 or somewhere else on the radio bands.

This program is about half DX show, with about a dozen audio clips from stations reported around Easter. There's a brief interview with Ion Radio, and some chatting with Chris Smolinski about the daily wideband waterfall images he's been creating & posting on here. If you're interested in following along with what he's talking about, check out the images between 4/5 and 4/10.

Whenever it is that you hear it, hope you like the show.

Just got the word that 5130 is still off the air, so #5 won't air tonight. Sorry about that!

They said they'll air this show next month, but I'll try to create a new show for then

Thanks, I enjoy these radio related chats with Andrew. Maybe we need to make it a semi-regular feature  :P

Hello All - I’ve been sidelined for a few days - when will #6 be on the air?
Thanks
