Tuned in at 0002 utc on Barrington Hills IL sdr with fair/good S9 to S9+10 signal, old acoustically recorded 78 rpm record then 30's or 40's swing tune "tomorrow", old ballad "100 years from today", Wolverine ID, Hank Williams "I don't care if tomorrow never comes", theme of songs with yesterday, today or tomorror, at 0019 switched to Brookfield WI sdr with slightly better signal, at 0027 switched back to Barrington Hills IL sdr, at 0028 "time has come today" by Chambers Brothers, thanks for the excellent tunes that I haven't heard in 50 years, at 0057 echo ID then SSTV/FAX, off at 0059.

Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, 7mhz backyard dipole, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because of strong data hash interference in my neighborhood that I believe is caused by Uverse squeezing up to 100mb/sec through ordinary pairs of wires. I don't have Uverse but neighbors do. williamhassig@yahoo.com

Strong signal in western NY

0006z   Billie Holiday, I think, "A Hundred Years from Today". It wasn't here a few minutes ago, so it just came on.
0009z   "Wolverine Radio", then "If Tomorrow Never Comes" (but that ain't Garth Brooks!)
0012z   Some sort of doo-wop country song
0014z  "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" by the Shirelles
0016z   Another "tomorrow" song =-seems like the theme is "tomorrow"!
0019z   "Live for Today" by the Grass Roots
0022z   "More Today Then Yesterday", by SPiral Staircase
0024z   "Wolverine Radio", then another "tomorrow" song
0027z   "The Time Has Come Today", by the Chambers Brothers
0032z   "Had to Cry Today" by Blind Faith. Blind Faith is always a good choice!
0841z   "Wolverine Radio", then something by "Cream"

Drake R8B, 600 ft longwire

The signal just shot above 20 over, he's cracked open the Night Train.

Some old hippy tune.
