Bud and B-Side Radio 40 over on the giant loop and Kiwi SDR in Lamont, Alberta. The signal is 20 Khz wide and sounding good. Well into 11 minutes of Coltrane.

This is amazing. I've never heard a pirate this wide and loud w/o any distortion. All in Hi-Fi AM, take notes ops.
I could never pronounce the composers name either, Bud.

Tuned in with the trusty old Satellit 750 and G5RV last night - I was having internet issues and could log in to post in real time, but I did tune in at 0332 UTC to a decent SIO 333 signal of jazz (sounded like a four or five piece combo featuring a solo trumpet prominently), with a voice which was unintelligible at 0338z just when it went QRT - likely station ID. Thanks for the show.

That was The Miles Davis Quintet, last song of the show. I'm still knocked out by the signal and the audio he was getting out of that transmitter. That SDR was just ahead of the greyline, which helped the signal, but that doesn't explain the high quality audio. Bud must be tinkering with that transmitter?

He has always had excellent audio, you just need a very strong signal to hear the full bandwidth (most people in the east do not get it that strong). The signal strength of his broadcasts is always impressive, I get the feeling he runs a bit more than the claimed 10 watts...
